Super Furry Animals

SFA played in Langtons Kilkenny, Ireland as part of a free gig thanks to Heineken.
This was the final date on their tour so everything ran smooth on the night from the introduction: the band were seen on the screen behind the stage driving into the hotel on what could only be described as a golf buggy. The show itself was fantastic, they played the hits including Rings Around The World and and Juxtaposed With U. However, there were some that I didn’t recognise and as I don’t have their new album yet, they might have played a lot of tracks from this. Sounds good though.
The show was played live on Today FM and we spotted Tom Dunne who hosted his show from Langtons and Paddy Casey was also wandering around. I know size means nothing but these guys are small!
Verdict: Second time seeing SFA and I’d go see them again in a shot. Great live show so if you’re reading this SFA, come back to Cork!

You jammy bastard!! I would have loved to have gone to this gig, but had to put up with listening to it on the radio while at work. I’ve seen them live before (Savoy Cork, Paradise Boston, The Shelter Dublin, Witnness, Oxegen etc) but I’ve heard their show on this tour was fantastic. Heineken are langers – they didn’t give me tickets for the Doves gig either!

Well I only got a ticket on the morning of the show. A kind person with the pseudonym “Waterford”, gave me his/her ticket. Thank you Waterford!! If you beg and plead on the message board before the gig, you can pick them up there.
