Poles Apart at the Spiegeltent
July 7th, 2006 Posted in Ireland, Live Music, Music, PhotographyPoles Apart played in the Spiegeltent last Thursday as part of the Cork Festival. As their name suggests, they’re a Polish band and they played some great jazz at the Spiegeltent last week. Each of the band members played solos during the performance, with the drummer playing a fantastic solo.
They will be playing as part of the Kinsale Arts Week on the 23 July and it’s free according to CorkGigs so check them out if you like a big band sound.
They reminded me of a band we saw in Warsaw in the Kafe Kulturlana which I dug out from my Flickr account below.

I would like to express my opinion that saxophonist was amazing!People don’t underestand his idea for playing music so….what do you think? He is very mature and experienced despite of his young age.Good luck!!!
