Sultans of Ping at Mitchelstown
August 15th, 2006 Posted in Ireland, Live Music, Music, Photography
The Sultans headlined the afternoon show at the Mitchelstown Music Festival. Well, they were to play straight after Hybrasil but the Cork Waterford semi-final was on so the festival organisers wisely chose to take a break for it. Unfortunately, I missed Hybrasil as they were on stage when the game had already started.
Back to the Sultans gig. Having seeing them in Club One December last, I was looking forward to this show and they didn’t disappoint! Niall kept the language to a minimum but did warn parents that they should take their children home although that didn’t seem to deter them.
The complete set of pictures from the Mitchelstown Music Festival can be seen here.
For more pictures of the Sultans read on. I will be posting more from this gig soon because there are too many pictures to go up on one post!
Drink!
All tangled up
Ah, there’s me jumper!

1st and 3rd pictures are my faves but I really like the Jameson one and the strangling one too!

That Jameson photo is kinda cool, it would make a pretty good album cover.
