Jeanie Johnston

The Jeanie Johnston tied up in Cork last week.  I’m not too sure what the smaller boat in front of her is.

Lovely photo. I saw the Jeanie Johnston a few weeks ago when I was in Cobh, tall sailing ships are the most beautiful form of transport mankind has ever created.

I’ve seen this ship in the harbour of Fenit, back in 2001. The ship was under construction then. Quit impressive vessel.
