Hooray for Humans at Cyprus Avenue
January 22nd, 2008 Posted in Cyprus Avenue, Live Music, Music, Photography, corkgigsHard working Cork band Hooray for Humans played at Cyprus Avenue back on November 2nd to launch their debut album Safekeeping. Having seen them at the Mitchelstown Music Festival, I was looking forward to seeing their happy poppy live act. They played a tight set that night to a packed venue which must have helped sales of their album.
According to their MySpace, they are taking a break at the moment to record some new material. Actually, check out their MySpace for tracks from the first album. I see from Corkgigs.com that they are playing in Cyprus Avenue on March 14th so mark your diaries!
There are more photos over in the full set on Flickr.

Hey Donal
Great pics of the humans, still haven’t seen them live.
Was wondering if you tried out the live-streaming of the show on the dublin city website? Just wondering if it works as obviously I can’t check as the show goes out live!!
I won’t be offended if you didn’t try it out
Hope to meet you at the blog awards next month!

Why are there no pictures of the drummer?
