These birds were perched up high in El Jem Coliseum in Tunisia and were jostling each other around for space. I took this shot after waiting for them to make another move.
Seeing as we’re looking after Donncha’s mutt for the weekend, I thought I’d throw up a few doggie pics from Currabinny. There was a whole pile of dogs down in Currabinny, good place to take a dog for a walk although I don’t think Oscar would be up to the brutal terrain there.
Another bird from the time I got the last panning bird shot.
I’m getting that shot printed on canvas from Funk’d Online, who are based in Cork, along with this shot from a Roaring Forties gig. I’m looking forward to seeing what they look like at 24X36. It’s probably too late now to order from Funk’d for Christmas but I’ll post about the results when I get them.
On Saturday, John kindly loaned me his 75-300 IS lens until he gets his own DSLR. This is one of my first efforts using this lens which I took at the Lough in Cork. It’s looking great at this time of year so I will probably head back there again soon.
