This shot was taken crossing the salt lake of Chott El Jerid at the same pit-stop as yesterday’s photo. Coming from Ireland with our twisty windy roads, these straight roads were bizarre. If you look closely you can see a vehicle of some sore in the distance. There wasn’t much traffic so I had a bit of time to take the shot in the middle of the road.
This blog hasn’t been updated in a while but sometimes it’s good to take a break. Last week myself and C were in Tunisia and had a great time even if the weather wasn’t what we expected. The coats we took because of the walk from the long-term car park in Dublin came in handy over there! I’ll post photos from the trip over the next week or so; this one was taken on the second day of a 2 day tour on a little mini-bus in which we travelled almost 1000km. It was a good bunch of people though so we had a bit of a laugh. We were crossing Chott El Jerid which is a massive salt lake (apparently 250 km long and 20 km wide) after spending the night in a hotel near the Sahara.
